Our main Sale D'Armi is located at the CATS Gym at 235 East 49th Street, New York, NY 10017.
Our current schedule of classes are as follows;
- Basic Classes; Students learn the basic stance, footwork, frontal parries, and primary attacks. All fencing equipment is provided by us, all student's need bring is warmup pants, a tee-shirt, and personal protective gear. These classes are great for individuals who want to try out Fencing, and which to continue on to the Atheletic Sport. We require this class as a prerequisite for our Martial Class. Completion of a 14 class session as a student in good standing earns the student the title of Squire. The full session cost is $550 for 14 sessions. Feel free to audit a class, for only $55. These classes are ideal for Student's Ages 9 through adult.
NOTE: if you are an existing member of one of our Sala D'Armi, you receive a $20 discount per class at the Sala D'Armi at CATS.
- Martial Classes; Squires learn the full set of footwork, enhance their stance, side, and rear parries, primary attacks. Once this is accomplished they graduate to Fencer. During the Martial Classes, Fencer's will be learning the art of Binding, Grapples, the use of the Cape, dagger, and the Lantern. Once this is completed, the Fencer's graduate to Masters of the forms. For the Martial Classes, each student is required to acquire a Fencer's kit of their own, and any such equipment that they may require (extra swords, gloves, protective gear, etc.) Martial Classes run in 14 week sessions of $550 for 14 sessions.
